Have You Seen Our New Machine?
From Saturday 23 September in Church Street car park Leatherhead, Mole Valley is trialling its new parking payment machine.
This new machine will allow customers to pay in a wider variety of methods than the current machines and also enables payment for the parking time 'used' at the end of a session, as long as the vehicle is registered upon arrival.
Councillor David Mir, Executive Member for Environment and Parking said, "We are trialling this new machine in Church Street for the next six months. We can then use the feedback received to inform decisions regarding upgrades to pay and display machines throughout Mole Valley in the future.
"We will be gathering feedback both in the car park on Saturday 23September as we show shoppers how to use it and following that via email to our parking email address - firstname.lastname@example.org
"This new machine is designed to make it quicker and easier to pay as it offers the option of paying via cash, card, RingGo or via Apple pay/android phone payment systems. The option to pay upon return, allows visitors to pay for what they actually use and is particularly useful if you are not sure how long you are going to be parked for."
