Frightfully Good Fun to be had on Halloween
Leatherhead's freakishly popular family-friendly Halloween celebrations, supported by Mole Valley District Council, the Swan Centre and Leatherhead & District Chamber of Commerce, will be returning on Tuesday 31 October from 3-6pm.
Leatherhead is the place to be on Halloween this year, with a whole host of scary treats in store for all ages and free parking in the town from 3pm. You will get the chance to hold a tarantula, have a spooky picture taken in the free photo booth or trick and treat around the shops on the skeleton trail.
There will be wide range of side stalls and magic shows, as well as free popcorn and candy floss to look forward to. You may even bump into the floating ghosts and jumping devils who will be roaming the High Street, so beware!
The Leatherhead Theatre will be hosting a fancy dress competition at 6pm. Bring along your scariest outfits to be in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes.
Councillor Simon Edge, Executive Member for Transform Leatherhead said: "Leatherhead's Halloween celebration is one of the most popular events of the year and has proved time and again a fantastic way to bring the local community together. As in years gone by, our Halloween event is sure to provide an enjoyable, family-friendly occasion that I hope will encourage residents and visitors alike to enjoy the afternoon and explore Leatherhead's many shops, cafés and restaurants."
