Free Festive Parking in Mole Valley

Free parking sessions for Christmas across Mole Valley are confirmed for the festive season!

From 12 midday on Saturday 2nd, 9th and 16th December, shoppers will park free of charge in any of Mole Valley District Council owned car parks.

Additional free parking sessions will run in Dorking from 3pm for the Gala Night on 7th December, in Bookham from 3pm for the late night shopping event on 14th December and in Ashtead from 3pm on 5th December.

Councillor David Mir, Executive Member for Environment and Parking said, "These free parking sessions are great news for businesses and shoppers alike.  Whilst our charges of just 60p for the initial hour are low compared to other neighbouring shopping districts, giving a festive treat of free sessions is always well received.

"There are plenty of reasons to shop in Mole Valley this Christmas and this we hope will encourage everyone to come in and support their local shops."

Notices will be displayed next to the parking payment machines to alert drivers not to pay during the free sessions. Any money that does go in to the machines from that time will be donated to the Chairman of Mole Valley Councillor Simon Ling's, two chosen charities the Mid Surrey Dementia Trust and The Meeting Room.
