Community Foundation for Surrey
The Community Foundation for Surrey supports local charities, community and voluntary groups in Surrey whose work benefits our communities. It welcomes applications from both new and established groups and also have two funds that award grants to support individuals.
The grant funding awarded is made possible by local donors, spread across 83 different funds. When considering your application, Community Foundation for Surrey will match it with the criteria their various funds have set across the County.
Who can apply?
The Foundation supports voluntary and community groups which are charitable in purpose and are working for the benefit of people in Surrey. This includes registered charities, CICs and other entities. View the full guidelines.
How much can I apply for?
As a guidance, between £1,000 - £10,000 would be typical, but please contact us to talk through what you need with our Grants team and we can advise further.
What are the funding priorities?
Funding is awarded across 81 funds in Surrey, which cover a broad range of themes and interests, including mental health, sports, young people, environment, the arts, poverty, community projects, isolation, and much more. The Foundation's priority is supporting local projects from charities making a difference in Surrey.
What are the deadlines?
The Foundation operates a quarterly deadline schedule. In the first instance, express an interest in funding on the website.
