Health and Safety in the Workplace

Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) enforces health and safety at work for the majority of workplaces (approximately 1,600) in the district. All inspections are to ensure that employers are effectively managing the health, safety and welfare of their employees and customers.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has identified five priority topic areas nationally that contribute the most to workplace injury and illness at businesses inspected by local authorities.
