A Personal Search provides information about a specific property or land from a search of the local land charges register held by Mole Valley District Council (MVDC).
Covid-19 (Coronavirus) update
Due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) on our services, we have amended Personal Search procedures for a temporary period to remove the need to visit our offices. If you wish to do a personal search on a property in the Mole Valley District Council area, please complete an online Search Request Form.Request a Search ›
Your Personal Search report will be returned to you via email on what would have been the 'day of collection'.
If you require help completing the online booking form, please email email@example.com
Since no standard forms are required in order to carry out a Personal Search, it is your responsibility to ensure that you obtain any other information you require.
MVDC recommends that Personal Searches are only carried out by experienced individuals, due to the complex nature of the process. The Personal Search of the Local Land Charges Register, which is held in electronic format, will be conducted on your behalf by MVDC staff.
The Highways CON29R search can be obtained by contacting the Surrey County Council Highways Information team. For more information, including the fees payable for this service, call Surrey County Council on 020 8541 8926.
