Polling Districts and Places Review
On Friday 12 July, we began a review of all of Mole Valley's polling districts and polling places.
Polling districts are the electoral areas which make up a district ward, and polling places are buildings or areas designated by MVDC where electors in a polling district go to vote.
Any registered elector in Mole Valley can make comments on the existing and proposed arrangements. Comments and suggestions are particularly welcomed from residents or groups that have expertise in access to premises or facilities for people with disabilities.
Representations and views must be made in writing to the Democratic and Electoral Services team by Monday 9 September 2019. Any person or bodies making representations should, if possible, give alternative places that may be used as the locations of polling stations.
Details of the current arrangements and proposed changes can be viewed online or at the Council's offices in Pippbrook, Reigate Road, Dorking, RH4 1SJ. There are no proposed changes to polling districts.
Comments will be published on MVDC's website at the end of the review, prior to consideration of this matter at the Council Meeting on Tuesday 8 October 2019.
