Following several years teaching in East London schools, Clayton relocated to Dorking. He now works for a charity foundation in West Sussex which takes youths aged between 16 and 21 and offers them an opportunity to gain a trade, an apprenticeship and NVQ qualifications. The young people are referred by the probation service, social services and other organisations that help people from difficult backgrounds. Clayton teaches them English and Maths.
He has a strong social conscience and wants to help in his local community by supporting the needs and views of local people and protecting the beautiful landscape.
