In early 2015, Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) launched a project to transform Leatherhead.
Working alongside master planning company Nexus/Broadway Malyan, a carefully-considered economic case was put forward to create a master plan for a regenerated town centre.
The ideas received substantial support from the public and have been turned into more substantive proposals, which can be found in the Transform Leatherhead Masterplan.
Now, in partnership with, Coast2Capital, Surrey County Council, The Environment Agency and a number of other partners, Leatherhead is being transformed into a modern market town where people of all ages can shop, eat, relax and have fun by the riverside.
We hold regular public engagement events where we present updates on the progress of our initiatives and everyone can ask questions of the project team. Our last event was filmed live - watch the latest forum and view the presentation slides.
You can also keep up to date with future events by signing up to our e-update.
