Food Hygiene Training

Food Hygiene regulations state that food businesses must make sure that all food handlers receive adequate supervision, instruction and/or training in food hygiene for the work they do.

Although there is no legal requirement for food handlers to go on a formal training course, many businesses may want their staff to have such training.

Mole Valley District Council Environmental Health and Licensing department operate a shared service with Tandridge District Council, who supply the following food hygiene training:

  • Level 2 food hygiene for food handlers (one day course).
  • Level 3 food hygiene for supervisors and managers (three day course).

Further information and details about booking onto one of their courses can be found via the Tandridge District Council website
