Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) operates a choice-based lettings scheme called HomeChoice which allows those applicants on the housing register to search for a suitable housing association property.
If your application for Mole Valley District Council's (MVDC) housing register has been verified and approved, you can use your login details to access the 'new households' registration' page on the HomeChoice website. To login, you will need your registration number and date of birth. Existing applicants should login in the usual way.
Once logged in you can search for housing association vacancies that are advertised every week. You can express your interest in up to three properties per week, as long as the property is the right size for you and you are eligible.
If you express interest in a vacancy you will be considered in priority order with other applicants who express their interest in that property. Applicants in band 1 will be considered first by the date they were first registered in that band, followed by applicants in bands 2 and 3 by the dates they were first registered in those bands. MVDC will telephone you if you have been successful.
For more information, download the Housing Allocation Scheme (see 'Downloads').
If you have any questions, please call 01306 879197/870638 and speak to a Home Choice Officer.
